It’s worth saying that the song is over 6 minutes long and it even has an orchestral style arrangement at the end! When “Hey Jude” came out in 1968 at more than 7 minutes in length it was extremely rare to record extended length pop music, and even more rare that it turned out to be so successful. Here’s hoping attention spans in 2019 are still equipped for listening beyond 6 minutes ;)
